Menlo CA junior Charlotte Tomkinson placed second in the 5-kilometer girls varsity small school race at the 37th Rough Rider Invitational at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. Tomkinson clocked a personal-best 19:16.6 on the course to help Menlo finish second to Laguna Beach CA by a 46-72 margin.
