Air Force Academy sophomore Sam Gilman won the men's 1,500 meters in 3:45.53 at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Gilman and teammate Cole Lindhorst (3:46.89) took the top two spots for the Falcons, who were competing for the first time since March 15 at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships in Stillwater, Okla.
