Air Force Academy freshman Cole Lindhorst placed second in the men's 1,500 meters in 3:46.89 at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field. Lindhorst, who took the top two spots with sophomore teammate Sam Gilman (3:45.53), was competing in his first collegiate outdoor race after winning the indoor mile in his last meet Feb. 27 at the Championships at the Peak.
